Dessert Inspiration!

My friends over at Traveling Bites sent me these photos last night. I love these Tarts! they were homemade by Rosemarie's Boyfriend Thomas. Don't the look fantastically delicious??? Yum! I also loved how the used the cutting board I got them for Christmas as a display item in the photo as well. Maybe these photos will inspire some dessert tables/buffets for future weddings, parties and special events. Enjoy!

A Downton Abbey Wedding

Does anyone watch Downton Abbey? If you don't you should. It is a fantastic period piece television show based in the early 1900's. The show is about the social class system, which deals with the upper class system and the lower class system (in this case, the servants). Well, enough about the show, I didn't tell you the best part of the show, all the absolutely gorgeous fashion! The costume design is breath-taking, full of stunning early century dresses with lots of beading and velvet!

There are 2 main character in the show, that have a love interest: Matthew and Mary. If these 2 characters ever end up together, I wonder what their wedding will entail? Maybe it'll be something like this:

I tend to heart/admire many wedding items on Etsy. I don't know whether it's because it just appeals to me, or whether it inspires my wedding shop's product line. Can I just say that I love Pink! Many people who know me, are aware of my love for this color. I tend not to wear pink anymore, but I am still very much in love with this color. I think with age, I come not to wear pink anymore. I use to wear pink every day of the pink, but now it seems I like to wear purples and grays.

It's been a long and stressful week for me. I am thank for the weekend (it could not come fast enough, in my opinion). Cherries and Cherry Pits

I recently posted a wedding inspiration post on Wedding Window on something as sweet as cherries. Well, okie... nothing is as sweet as cherries.. I adore cherries, ever since I was a child. I could eat cherries all summer long. Cherries actually remind me of my younger sister. When we for kids, we loved to read this book:

Can anyone remember this Children's book? Its an adorable story about eating cherries and spitting out the pits. I definitely recommend this for children growing up! Stories like this make me enjoy cherries so much, I wrote a wedding inspiration blog showcasing cherries:

Apples and Oranges

Weddings with themes are full of fun and whimsy. One of my favorite themes for a wedding is the idea of Apples and Oranges. This makes for a perfect wedding theme. Although the term ‘apples and oranges’ refers to 2 people who do not see eye to eye, I think in wedding terms, I would define it as 2 people, with 2 different personalities, finally seeing eye to eye on one subject: marriage.
