Inspiration for your wedding: We both wanted to honor the tradition of matrimony, while at the same time making the day all about the celebration of two families coming together. It was also important for both of our personalities to be reflected in the day, and for us to be able to find stolen moments where we could simply enjoy each other's company in this most precious day. 

Color Scheme: Pink Champagne and Dark Chocolate

DIY projects: My grandmother upcycled a birdcage that was used as a card holder. We also found the cutest little homemade flower girl/ring bearer kits on etsy!

Changed or done differently: I wish I had gone to several different places before picking my dress. I adored my dress, but I wish I had extended the wonderful experience of shopping for one. 

Final outcome: It was everything I had imagined it to be. We had been together for so long, so I had lots of time to imagine what it'd be, and it was as wonderful as any of my dreams, which says a lot :)

 

Glad its over: Yes, but only because we get to move on to the next amazing chapter in our lives, we are expecting a little girl this coming fall!
